The Isenhart Irrigation District (IID) is located 1 mile east of the foot of Lake Chelan in the State of Washington.

 

The overall goal of the Isenhart Irrigation District is to provide non-potable water to landowners within the district boundaries in an equitable and cost-effective manner.

The District operates as authorized by the laws of the State of Washington, RCW 87, etc. and in accordance with long-standing water rights and current agreements with the Washington State Department of Ecology. The Board of Directors of the District in managing and conducting the business and affairs of the District has established By Laws, Rules and Regulations for the government and management of the District for the equitable distribution of water to properties served by the District.

History:
The District was formed in 1931 for the purpose of furnishing water for irrigated land and domestic use for the properties within the District. The water right for the district is dated August 13, 1928. Starting in the year 2000, domestic water was provided by a joint district consisting of Isenhart District and Chelan River District. In 2008 domestic water distribution was taken over by the City of Chelan.
